Responsibilities of House Mother

• Responsible for allotment of rooms to the students.
• Responsible for maintenance of the hostels.
• Looks after the quality of food served in the hostels.
• Keeps strict discipline among students of the hostels.
• Reports to the School authority in case of any indiscipline or misbehavior by the students.
• Looks into the grievances/complaints of the students.
• Arranges for first-aid in case of any emergency and arrange for hospitalization of student/staff, if required
• Providing ideal care, by the way, counseling, and high standards of safety and liability in the hostel.
• To facilitate their holistic development of physical, mental, and intellectual
• Ensure the safety and security of all borders at all times.
• To ensure maintenance of discipline in and around the Hostel
• To ensure that no ragging takes place in the hostels and maintain a ragging-free Hostel.
• To ensure housekeeping and cleaning of the premises
• Ensure no damage to the hostel furniture and fittings and timely repair and maintenance of the hostel block
• Responsible for addressing medical/social and personal emergencies of all students. Accompany students to the hospital in case of serious illness or injury.
• Be a point of contact with parents, who are kept informed by reports and informal contact
• To ensure that the caretakers are reporting in time and doing the assigned duties.
• Pursuing the additional responsibilities allotted by Management/Principal.
