Responsibilities of Front Office Executive

• Process all guest check-ins, including verifying guest identity, form of payment, assigning room, and issuing room key

• Set up accurate accounts for each guest based on their requirements, including entering Marriott Rewards information

• Ensure rates align with market codes and document any exceptions

• Secure payment before issuing room key and verify or adjust billing as needed

• Compile and review daily reports, logs, and contingency lists

• Complete cashier and closing reports accurately

• Provide guests with directions and property information as needed

• Accommodate guest requests promptly, contacting relevant staff when necessary

• Follow up with guests to ensure their requests have been met satisfactorily

• Process various payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, and charges

• Balance and drop receipts, counting and securing the bank at the start and end of the shift

• Obtain manual authorizations and adhere to all Accounting procedures

• Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any guest reports of theft
