Responsibilities of Deputy Manager

• To have knowledge on new product development for Lightings, Wiring harness & other Electrical commodities
• To identify new / alternate vendors as per organization business requirements
• To perform Online costing, floating the RFQ’s to various vendors and supporting new product development
• To negotiate price, lead time, Freight, payment terms and other terms & condition of quotes in-line with organization requirements
• To work with Engineering team and Supplier until DFM closures on drawings.
• To manage price changes, ECN, BOM revision and SAP MM updates along with engineering team
• To run Cost reduction (VAVE) activities in regular running projects
• To analyse vendor performance based on their delivery and quality
• To carryout PPAP for parts along with SQA
• To execute DCRN & ECR/ECN
