Responsibilities of Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

• Execute the maintenance schedule with healthy maintenance practices for all Instrumentation equipment’s used in Hot End/CVD including DCS, Reversal system and Heaters.

• Take actions to control Maintenance cost of all Instrumentation system in Hot End so as to adhere to the maintenance Budget.

• Execute countermeasure action plan based on breakdown analysis report and monitor its effectiveness in Hot end.

• Execute improvements and modification activities to increase productivity, reliability and process improvements.

• Day to day work planning to assign required jobs to subordinates for maximum manpower utilization.

• Process measurement and control Instrumentation and services to optimize manufacturing processes.

• To execute calibration of equipment’s to validate process parameters for smooth operation of all Instrumentation system in Hot end.

• To monitor and ensure all Instrumentation system in Hot End is healthy.

• To implement TQM, 5S, QCC and Kaizen in the department to enhance customer satisfaction.

• To check the inventory items to ensure required spares for Machines and automation, related instruments used in Hot end and utilities.

• To develop self skill as per roles and responsibility effectively and improve performance continuously.

• To develop subordinates technically by sharing knowledge, imparting training, communicating and highlighting department objectives to ensure department operate smoothly.

• To build up and maintain cordial relationship, discipline among department members and user departments.

• To implement SOP’S for safety so as to build safe working environment by ensuring adherence to safety norms.

• To maintain the health of Assets by continuous implementation and review of Maintenance plan.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, inter-personal and management skills. Should also have knowledge about PLC & DCS system (Siemens S7-300/400), AC Drives (Siemens make), Instrumentation system, Calibration, Servomotors, electrical maintenance, and other safety standards.
