General Terms & Conditions

1. The duration of the post will be initially for one year, which may be extended up to the duration of the project based on satisfactory performance. The fellowship may be terminated if the performance of the candidate is not satisfactory.

2. The post created under the SERB project is purely on a temporary basis and neither SERB nor the Institute would have liability whatsoever for sustaining temporary staff recruited under the above-mentioned project, after its completion/termination.

3. Only those candidates who are present before the reporting time on the scheduled date will be considered for the Interview. Candidates reporting after the scheduled reporting time for document verification shall NOT be eligible to appear for the Interview.

Walk-In-Interview shall be conducted for the position of Junior Research Fellow for the project titled “Development of an empirical model for a fundamental natural period of buildings constructed in hilly terrains” under Core Research Grant (file Number: CRG/2022/005334) by SERB, DST Govt. of India, under the supervision of Dr. Smita Kaloni, Principal and Co-Principal Investigator Dr. Shashank Bhatra, in the Department of Civil Engineering NIT Uttarakhand.

Interested candidates shall appear for a walk-in-interview along with the application form, all originals, and self-attested photocopies of relevant certificates as per the above schedule at the Department of Civil Engineering, NIT Uttarakhand, Srinagar Campus, Srinagar Garhwal – 246174.
