Finally, long 3 year wait is over for the people of Kumaon and Pantnagar as a flight between Delhi and Pantnagar airport has been resumed once again by Airports Authority of India. On 14th October Chief minister Harish Rawat attended the opening ceremony of Pantnagar airport. Earlier the airport was scheduled to open on October 1 2014, but was later shifted to October 14.
